Belkin Wemo + IFTTT = Awesome

Thanks to Mic for alerting me to Wemo and these cool sensors that you can hook up to IFTTT (If This Then Than) which allows you to automate web activity. 

So say I want to set up a sensor so that every time I walk into a room a tweet with a link to a YouTube clip of the Imperial March, I could do that. 

Cool geek factor aside, I love that the physical and virtual are coming together through sensors. This just emphasizes that there is no offline or online anymore, just connected.
